Steffen joined TankMatch in 2016. After a career as a charterer in the tanker shipping industry, he decided to use his knowledge as Safety & Quality Coordinator at TankMatch. He now shares responsibility for monitoring the correct observance of the quality requirements as laid down in the TankMatch quality management system. His duties include carrying out audits on board the fleet, pre-EBIS inspections on the ships, conducting A&D tests and training ships’ crews in safety procedures.
