André started his career in 1986 aboard a tanker, sailing for 13 years as helmsman and later as captain on various stainless steel ships. In 1999, he joined Stolt Nielsen as a chartering manager. In 2007, André was on the ground floor when TankMatch was founded. Besides his daily work as managing director, he is still closely involved in the daily chartering operations.
